Project Description
ShopKeep.com is a new approach to typical Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems. Unlike most thick-client POS software, ShopKeep is cloud-based. This sounds trivial, but it gives ShopKeep a big advantage because it can run on nearly anything that has a web browser and an Internet connection.
I used a lot of fun new technologies for this project, including LESSPHP, a PHP port of LESS, and Cufon, a ridiculously awesome cross-browser solution for embedding custom typefaces.
This is probably the most thorough implementation of WordPress that I’ve done to date. Absolutely every chunk of content is editable via the WordPress interface, giving the owners complete control over their content.
